Skin Inflammations
Dealing with Skin Inflammations
Skin Inflammations are often due to cuts or scrapes that have become infected. Although inflammations often heal by themselves, in order to eliminate the irritation as quickly as possible and to avoid unsightly effects, it's a good idea to treat the inflammation.
Treatment for Skin Inflammations
The best treatment for inflammations is to fight the infection while at the same time healing the damage that has already been done to the skin. Shea butter contains healing agents that can both fight infections and restore the skin that has been cut or otherwise damaged to a healthy state. The essential oils that amplify the healing effects of shea butter for skin inflammations include
Jasmine, Lavender, Myrrh, Patchouli.
The following Karite Gold products each contain Shea Butter and one or more of the essential oils that are most efficacious for inflammations, and they are all about equally effective. Click on any of these products to find out more about them.
To treat a skin inflammation, apply a moderate amount of Karite Gold three times a day.
After you have coated an area of your skin with shea butter, spend some time making sure that the shea butter works its way down under the surface of your skin. Move your fingers in a circular motion as you apply the shea butter.
